Yesterday I was working on Catty, the first painting I'm publishing online.. Now since the summer started, I was trying to learn this really amazing software called Corel Painter IX. It did actually take me a lot of time to know my way around and what I want to do with it.
I still have many things to learn, so this is just the beginning.
Anyway, here's what I ended up with yesterday (click for full view) :

my work was to make this whole painting.
lol okey seriously speaking, it seems you're interested for details so lemme tell ya how I basically made this painting. I have an old image of catty (took it via my camera phone, and the quality seriously sucks.) nevertheless, I just wanted to work on Corel Painter so I took this image coz it was the first thing I saw when I opened my photos folder :P
On Corel Painter, I just used watercolor brushes + oil brushes to paint the 'meaw.' Took me about 6-7 hrs non-straight to finish it simply coz i'm slow and a beginner on painter.
Amm, don't know honestly what to add more. Tell me if this answered your question dear..
Catty needs white whiskers so as to be a full blow catty cat :) meow
